Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: 31 July 2026

At Supabet, we believe that gambling should be an enjoyable and entertaining leisure activity. We are fully committed to promoting responsible gambling and to providing our Players with the tools, information, and support they need to stay in control. This Responsible Gaming Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If at any point you feel that gambling is having a negative impact on your life, please do not hesitate to use the tools and resources described on this page, or to reach out to one of the support organisations listed in Section 6.

1. Our Commitment

1.1. A Safe Gaming Environment

Supabet is dedicated to maintaining a gaming environment that is fair, transparent, and safe for all Players. We actively invest in responsible gaming measures and continuously review our practices to ensure the highest standards of Player protection.

1.2. Core Principles

Our responsible gaming approach is guided by the following principles:

  • Prevention: We take proactive steps to prevent problem gambling before it develops, including age verification, spending controls, and behavioural monitoring;
  • Player Empowerment: We provide Players with effective tools to manage their gambling activity and enforce their own limits;
  • Awareness: We provide clear and accessible information about the risks associated with gambling and the signs of problem gambling;
  • Support: We make it easy for Players in difficulty to access professional help, and we refer them to relevant support services without delay;
  • No Pressure: We do not encourage Players to chase losses, gamble beyond their means, or treat gambling as a source of income.

1.3. Minimum Age

Access to the Website is strictly restricted to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. We conduct thorough age verification checks as part of our KYC process, and we take all reasonable steps to prevent underage gambling.

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling is a recognised behavioural condition that can affect individuals regardless of age, background, or income. It is important to be honest with yourself about your gambling behaviour. Ask yourself whether any of the following statements apply to you:

  • ☐ You spend more money on gambling than you originally intended, and find it difficult to stop;
  • ☐ You gamble in order to escape stress, anxiety, depression, or other personal problems;
  • ☐ You feel irritable, anxious, or restless when you are unable to gamble;
  • ☐ You have tried to reduce or stop gambling but have been unable to do so;
  • ☐ You find yourself preoccupied with gambling — planning your next session, thinking about past wins and losses, or looking for ways to raise funds to gamble;
  • ☐ You lie to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money you spend on gambling;
  • ☐ You have borrowed money, sold possessions, or used funds intended for essential expenses (e.g., rent, bills, food) in order to gamble;
  • ☐ Gambling has caused or contributed to significant problems in your personal, professional, or financial life;
  • ☐ You chase losses by increasing your bets or playing for longer to try to recover lost money;
  • ☐ You continue gambling even after resolving to stop.

If you answered yes to one or more of the above, we strongly encourage you to use one or more of the Player Protection Tools below and to contact a professional support organisation. You do not need to be in crisis to seek help — early intervention is always more effective.

3. Player Protection Tools

Supabet provides a comprehensive range of tools to help you manage your gambling. These tools can be activated by contacting our support team at [email protected] or, where available, through the Account settings panel.

3.1. Deposit Limits

You can set a maximum limit on the amount you are permitted to deposit over a defined period. Limits can be set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases to existing limits are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period before coming into force, to ensure they are not made impulsively.

3.2. Loss Limits

You can restrict the maximum amount you are permitted to lose over a given period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once your loss limit is reached, you will be unable to place further bets for the remainder of that period. As with deposit limits, reductions are immediate and increases are subject to a 7-day waiting period.

3.3. Session Time Limits

You can set a maximum duration for individual gaming sessions. When your session time limit is reached, you will be automatically logged out of the Website. A countdown timer is displayed during your session to help you stay aware of elapsed time.

3.4. Wagering Limits

You may request a cap on the total amount wagered over a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). This tool is particularly useful for Players who wish to control the pace of their gambling without necessarily restricting deposits.

3.5. Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period is a temporary voluntary pause on your Account. During this time, you will be unable to log in, deposit, or place bets. Cooling-off periods are available for the following durations:

  • 24 hours
  • 48 hours
  • 7 days
  • 30 days
  • 6 weeks

At the end of the cooling-off period, your Account will be automatically reactivated. If you believe you need a longer period of restriction, we recommend self-exclusion (see Section 3.6).

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a serious and formal step that allows you to exclude yourself from the Website for an extended period. Self-exclusion is available for the following minimum periods:

  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 2 years
  • 5 years
  • Permanent (indefinite)

During a self-exclusion period:

  • Your Account will be immediately closed and you will not be able to log in;
  • All pending withdrawals will be processed to your registered payment method;
  • You will be removed from all marketing communications immediately;
  • Supabet will take reasonable steps to prevent you from opening a new Account during the exclusion period.

To request self-exclusion, contact our support team at [email protected] with the subject line “Self-Exclusion Request”. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the end of the chosen exclusion period.

3.7. Reality Checks

You may activate a reality check feature, which displays a periodic on-screen notification reminding you of the duration of your current gaming session and the amount wagered or lost. Reality checks can be set at intervals of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

The following tips can help you maintain a healthy and enjoyable relationship with gambling:

  • Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not as a way to make money or solve financial problems;
  • Never chase your losses. Accept that losses are part of gambling and that trying to win them back often leads to greater losses;
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen, stretch, and refresh yourself during gaming sessions;
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities. Ensure gambling does not crowd out other hobbies, social activities, or responsibilities;
  • Avoid gambling under the influence of alcohol, medication, or when emotionally distressed;
  • Do not borrow money to gamble and never use funds intended for household expenses or savings;
  • Use our responsible gaming tools proactively — setting limits before you start playing is more effective than trying to stop once you’re in a session;
  • Be honest with yourself about the time and money you spend on gambling.

5. Protection of Minors

5.1. Age Verification

Supabet enforces a strict minimum age of 21 years. All Players are required to verify their age as part of the KYC process before being permitted to deposit real money or play Casino Games for real stakes. Any Account found to belong to a person under 21 will be immediately closed and relevant funds dealt with in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

5.2. Safeguarding Minors in the Home

If you share a Device with family members, including children or young adults, we strongly recommend taking the following precautions:

  • Always log out of your Account when not in use;
  • Use strong, unique passwords and never share them with others;
  • Enable Device-level parental controls or content filtering software to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites;
  • Do not leave your Device unattended while logged in to your Account.

5.3. Parental Control Software

We recommend the use of third-party parental control software to restrict access to gambling content on shared Devices. Reputable options include tools built into operating systems (e.g., Windows Family Safety, Apple Screen Time) as well as dedicated filtering solutions. For information on Greece’s national “Kids Wallet” device-level parental controls, please refer to guidance published by the Greek government.
